This soil sampling tool is constructed of nickel-chrome plated, 16-gauge steel to resist abrasion. Augers are 1-1/4" in diameter and have a double twist with 2-1/4" pitch. Thread-on features 1/2" x 13 threads per inch.
Contains 12" handle, two 12" extension rods, 12" x 1-1/4" auger which is flighted 8". Also includes a 12" tube with screw-in (S-2) tip which extracts a 8"L x 13/16"dia. sample from moist soil.
